"This day, this precious, wonderful gift has been bestowed upon me free
And whatever I choose to do with it remains entirely up to me.
I could squander these given hours, treat each task as if it’s a chore
and mark this day off my calendar like so many times before.
I could overlook the blooming flowers and ignore the sun’s warm light
before it inevitably sets again, turning my gift of day to night.
I could dwell upon mistakes I’ve made and cry regretful tears
and live my life in the shadow of my own anxieties and fears.
Or I could make a resolution, before one more day has passed,
that I shall live it to its fullest, live it...as it if were my last.
Then I shall, as I awaken, relinquish my fret and my sorrow
and accept one more day to love and laugh, with no guarantee of tomorrow.
At night, as I lay down my head only to wake again, I’ll pray,
and if I do, then I’ll thank God for giving me one more day.

Love in literature
For all of you trying to find love, learn love, or give love, there is a book I highly recommend. We all want to love and be loved, but how can we fully do that if we don't understand it.
I suggest getting "The Five Love Languages", written by Gary Chapman. It's in incredibly easy read. I actually stumbled upon it and I read it a few years ago but I plan on reading it again.
Spread the word...it can't hurt.

Spread the word...it can't hurt.
If not now, if not today....

If not now, if not today, then when....
When will you...
Take a risk
Steal an opportunity
Follow your heart
Take a leap of faith
Forgive someone
Stop putting off until tomorrow
Trust yourself
Tell someone how you feel about them
Be vulnerable
Show compassion
Put someone else first
If not now, if not today, then when will you...
Love the small things in life
Cherish what's right under your nose
Let go of a grudge
Put yourself out there, even if it means getting hurt
Be productive
Let yourself feel love; and give it.
Love yourself
"Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world"
-- Lucille Ball
If you don't love you, then how can you expect anyone else to. Taking pride in oneself makes us stronger, more confident, and more capable. We can not expect to accomplish anything in life if we don't love who we are...

PRIORITIES
Why are priorities important? Priorities are a key element to who we are and what defines us. What we prioritize, what we make important, directly reflects who we are and who we want to be. What we focus on; what is most important in our lives, is eventually and without thought, the path we want for ourselves.
The things we can not live without, the people who we need to have in our lives and the morals we hold dear, are the things we should prioritize. If you can focus on and understand what makes you happy; what you just can't see yourself without, then you will be able to put those things first. We all need to learn and understand what is important. Is it family? Career? Love? Friends? Success? When we die what are we left with? No body knows. If we are left with just memories, or the path we've left behind with the people we've encountered, what would you choose? Do you want your memories to be about career or family? Success or love? When we decide to focus on what is truly important in life, we will be able to prioritize what we really want. Once we can decide what means the most we will be able to get what we want, achieve what we hope, and excel at what we love. The human heart and the human drive are what differs us. Make your mark in life. Love like you have lost, dance like no one is looking, and laugh like you never have before.
